NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC twice time in year.

Those candidate have completed Masters degree with above 55% marks are applicable for NET 2012 exam.There is no age criteria but for the case of JRF your maximum age should be 28 years old.

From this year the All paper are consist of multiple type Question.Each Question contain 2 marks.Paper I and Paper II have not any negative marking.Paper III have also MCQ type questions.

NET i.e National Eligibility Test and this examination is conducted twice in a year by University Grants Commission.

~~ Those who have passed their Post graduate degree with any background from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and must secure at least 55% Marks for General and OBC candidates . 50% for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / PWD candidates .

~~ One who are appearing in the final semester of degree course or completed master degree may also eligible to apply for this examination .

~~ This year pattern has been changed and all the three paper are Objective type questions . Last year paper I & paper II were objective type questions while paper - III descriptive type questions and also paper - III marks was reduced 150 Marks instead of 200 Marks .
