Re: Which university is offering LLB through distance? I am a student of MBA
Please do not go for distance education degree for LLB. It is for the simple reason that no such degree is accepted by the Bar Council of India. You will not get membership and therefore will not be able to practice in the court as lawyer.
Besides I don't think there is any need for you to pursue LLB. There is no point of doing MBA and LLB together since having law degree will not make any significant difference for you. Generally LLB degree is recommended with Company Secretary course. Since you have completed MBA, I will suggest that you find job in the relevant field. If you have not scored good enough marks or for some other reason not getting a good job then you should focus towards National Eligibility Test which is for college lectureship. However to appear for this exam you will need 55 percent marks in MBA. But if you have decided upon LLB then you will have to do it through regular mode. Please check the criteria below. LLB Eligibility 1. A graduation degree in any stream. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST must secure 40 percent marks. 4. The age limit is 30 years for LLB. 5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. There are few colleges that offer admission for LLB on merit without having to appear for entrance exam. While other colleges conducts a entrance exam to give admission. |

Graduate in any stream, with atleast 45% for gen and OBC's, 40% for SC/ST's, age limit-30 yrs but one thing i want to tell you is that a law degree through correspondence/distance will be not accepted by the bar council of india and you cannot try your hand in advocacy. So there is no use of doing it through distance. |
