Hi

Yes you are eligible for the various UPSC exam. There is no problem even if you placed in some company. The only thing you needed is eligibility. If you fulfill the eligibility criteria of the UPSC exam then there is no problem to apply for the UPSC exams.

There are various exams conducted by the UPSC. I have given below the UPSC exam with there minimum eligibility criteria.

1 Combined Medical Services Examination
Age limits
Below 32 years

Minimum academic qualifications
M.B.B.S. Degree

2.Combined Defence Services Examination
Age limits
For IMA 19 - 24
For NA 19 - 22
For AFA 19 - 23

Minimum academic qualifications
Degree of a recognised University

3. National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination
Age limits
16½ - 19 years

Minimum academic qualifications
12th Class pass.

4 Engineering Services Examination
Age limits
21 - 30 years

Minimum academic qualifications
A degree in Engineering from a recognized University.

5 Civil Services Examination
Age limits
21 - 30 years

Minimum academic qualifications
A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

So you can apply for the any examination conducted by the UPSC as per your eligibility criteria.

Dear friend,

Yes,you can apply for UPSC if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for
the examination, even after getting placed in INFOSYS.
If you have a Bachelor degree(eg: B.Tech, BE,etc) and have not
attained the age of 30 years , then you can apply for the UPSC
civil services examination.
Also the maximum number of attempts for examination is four so choose
your shots very carefully. When you think you are fully prepared
for the examination , apply for it and crack it. Also select your subjects
very carefully, you get a huge options for your optional subjects , so its
always better to choose one which you can easily understand and interests you.

Best wishes..

Dear friend you can appear for UPSC,
Provided you fulfill the eligibility criteria like age ( 21 to 30 years for gen)etc.
since you are placed in infosys you must be in final year of your engineering or MCA course
so you fulfill the educational criteria.. of having a bachelors degree.
so you can appear this year also.

Ya you will be eligible for the UPSC exams if you have not tied up with Infosys for a 2/specific time period bond.If you dint sign in any bond then your eligible for many of the exams conducted by the UPSC based on your educational qualification.

You will even be eligible for exams conducted by SSC board and any other boards if you wish to go through.Usually companies like Infosys,Wipro and many other software companies tie up a bond with selected candidates hence candidates selected in Infosys cannot go through exams conducted by other boards. If at all Infosys have not tied up a bond with you then you can definitely go through the UPSC and other sort of examinations conducted by various Government boards.
