What is the age criteria for class 4th admission under CBSE Board curriculum?

Hi, I wanted to get my son admitted in school affiliated to CBSE Board curriculum. So, wanted to know about the minimum and maximum age limit for class 4th admission in CBSE affiliated schools. Please update on this soon.

The age limit required to get admission in 4th standard in CBSE board school is 8 years 6 months. Maximum should not exceed 9 years and 6 months.

Candidate must have minimum age of 8 years and 6 months to seek admission in 4th standard.

Maximum age should not exceed 9 years and 6 months.

The age limit for class fourth admission under CBSE board:-

For 1st standard the age limit is 5 years and 6 months to 6 years and 6 months.

Then for 4th standard the age limit is 8 years and 6 months to 9 years and 6 months

The schools will decide the age. You can contact the school.
