As here in Karnataka, State board has updated there age criteria of kid admitting to 1st standard to 5 years 10 months (which was 5 years 5 months before). Will CBSE Board's affiliated schools remains same as 5 years 5 months or will it reflect state board decision for 2020 academic admission session?

Age criteria for 1st standard admission in CBSE board:-
The minimum age required for a candidate to get admission in 1st standard under CBSE board is that the candidate should have completed a minimum age of 3 years and 6 months.
Therefore, according to your age criteria, you are very much eligible to avail admissions in class 1 and continue with his studies further.

Age criteria under CBSE for 1st standard kid in the year 2020:-

The minimum age criteria required for the child to take admission in class 1 in CBSE school is 5 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission.
Maximum age must not exceed 7 years.

According to the age criteria of CBSE, a child is eligible to get admission in class first if he or she is minimum 5 years of age on the 31st March of the year in which the admission is sought and maximum of 7 years of age on the 31st March of the same year.

The age criteria to get admission in std 1 varies with state.

It is the Directorate of State Education which determine the age limit to get admission in std I and other std.
