Hi, what is the lower and upper age limit for Karnataka Education Service (KES) examination? Is there any age relaxation for any caste category candidates in KES exam?

The age criteria to apply for Karnataka Education Services:

General category candidates: 18-35 years.

In case of reserved category candidates, there is three years upper age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates.

Karnataka State Civil Services examination like, KAS, KES is conducted every year state wise by KPSC(Karnataka Public Service Commission).

The educational qualification required for the KES examination mentioned below:-

1. Candidates must have completed their bachelor degree in any stream from any recognised college or university.

2. Age limit:- 21-35 years.

3. Age relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

4. Nationality:- Indian.

What is the age limit for Karnataka Education Service Exam:-
Those candidates who have completed bachelor's degree or master's degree from a recognised University or an equivalent qualification are eligible for Karnataka Educational Service Exam.

Candidate who appear in final exam of the degree qualification may also appear.

Your age should be in between 21 to 35 years.

Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST category candidates.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed why 3 years for other backward category candidates. Upper age should be in between10 years for physical handicapped or widow candidates.

The age limit for open category candidates for Karnataka Education Services is 18-35 years. There is upper age relaxation for candidates belonging to reserved category. For example:

>>In case of OBC candidates, upper age is relaxed by three years.

>> For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is 40 years.

If you are within upper age limit then only you can apply for Karnataka Education Services.

The age limit for candidates belonging to different category are:

1. Open category candidates: 18-35 years.

2. OBC candidates: 18-38 years.

3. SC/ST: 18-40 years.

Age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category.
