Re: How to prepare for IAS from 9th standard?
IAS exam is a tough one to crack. So the preparation for this exam should be very systematic and dedicated. This exam is fully loaded, the questions are from a wide range of topics.Among the topics, the one which stands out is General knowledge. You could start preparing on these lines.Start making a note of the major political and administrative changes taking pace in the country. Also do concentrate on your school education, as that is also equally important.

For IAS you must be graduate from any feild. So first you have to decide from which feild you have to do graduation. so,for IAS paper the subject you studied through graduation is very important. Must make the concept of 11 and 12th class as good as possible because thesealso useful in IAS paper. i hope this information will help you. good luck |

The exam pattern consists of the CSAT i.e. civil services aptitude test , Mains and the interview. As for now that you are in class 9 th , your preparation should be more on general awareness . You should start taking aptitude tests which are offered in different books. You should develop a habit of reading newspapers daily. Your knowledge in history and geography is also must. Re: How to prepare for IAS from 9th standard?
Dear..
First of all let me tell you that you are now so young for the exam as the minimum educational requirement for the course is graduation and you are still in class 9th so you have long time available with you. Dear the exam is considered as the toughest exam in India so as you have planned for it very earlier so let me tell you that you have to go through two phases of the exam after you graduation, First stage is the Preliminary exam where you have to answer objective type question and after that you have to go for a theoritical paper. As i said exam is very tough so preparing for the exam as earlier as possible is the best option to clear the exam. Make it a habit to read newspaper, read GK books, clear your doubts instantly. Do graduation in that subject which you are most comfortable with. Hope it will help Cheers...!!! |
