I want to join Indian Army, so for that what I need to do for that. I studied till B.com and need an urgent job. Please help me out int his regard.

Yes, you are eligible to join Indian Army after B.Com degree. To join Indian Army you have to appear and qualify in CDS examination.

CDS examination is conducted twice in a year and the required eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 19-24 years.

The examination is conducted in two stages and candidates have to qualify in both stages for final recruitment. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

To get in Indian Army or in any defence wings one should appear for CDS (Combined Defence Service ) which is conducted by UPSC every year. Only graduate in any discipline candidates from any recognised institution can appear in this examination.Minimum age of candidate must be more than 20 years. This entrance exams contains 100 objective type question which carry equal marks. Duration for exams is 2 hours. Negative marking is also there. After clearing written test, there is physical and medical test happens which is followed by interview of the candidate.

You can join Indian army by clearing CDS entrance exam.

CDS Eligibility
- You must have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 19 to 24 years on 1st July of the examination year.

CDS Exam Syllabus
- English (100 Marks)
- General Knowledge (100 Marks)
- Elementary Maths (100 Marks)

- Medical Test

- Notification Released : 16th July , 2016

Officers Training Academy: You should have completed graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Age Criteria:-

Indian Military Academy: - 19 to 24 years
