GATE stands for gratitude aptitude test in engineering. If you score more than 60 marks out of 100 marks then your rank is considered as good rank. Once you got good marks in GATE, then you can directly go for the interview in many of the Public sector companies like Indian oil, Nepa limited etc. So its a great opportunity to you to get recruited in any of the PSU if you scored good rank in your GATE exam. Also if you want to study more then you can go for the master degree in any of the IIT.
