If you qualify the NDA exam, including the physical test and interview, you will basically get admission to the National Defense Academy and the call letter for the same will be sent to you as soon as the selection procedure are completed.
In National Defense Academy, you will have to undergo the required training as per the defense force you have applied for, which could be Indian Army, Indian Navy or Indian Air Force. During the training period, you will be also pursuing bachelors degree program recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru university.
Once you complete you training period along with the bachelors degree program, you will be recruited as officer in the defense forces you have applied for.

If you are able to qualify NDA then you will be called for the final interview and if you are able to qualify it too then you will get admitted to indian army on good rank..

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

Selection Process:

Written Test

Medical Test

Interview

first you can attend for the Written test. In the written test you can qualify then you need to attend the medical Test.

In that medical test you can qualify you can go for the final Interview.

These two written Test and Medical test qualify you can call for the final interview in that final interview you can qualify then you can get the Job.

As there are types of civil services that comes under NDA:

1.Indian Navy
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Military

You can apply for NDA after completion of 12th with more than 50% marks under some recognized university or board with any of the following stream:-

1.Arts
2.Commerce
3.Non-Medical
4.Medical



You must be eligible for NDA only then after you can apply for it.NDA is conducted by UPSC and it is held as twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria for NDA:

1.You must be an Indian.
2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.
4.You must be physically fit.
5.Girls are not eligible for it.
6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it.


And if you qualify the NDA entrance exam then you will be called for the final interview and you will be admitted into the civil services for which you are eligible or which you want.

You can either go for Indian Army,Navy or Air Force but the thing is that Arts and commerce students are eligible only and only for Indian Army and are not eligible for Navy and Air Force.

But the science students are eligible for all the three civil services.Once you have been admitted into any of the civil service,then you will get a training regarding this and after that assign the duties to you according to your position.
