You not mentioned your stream which you have most interest i.e., Maths, BIO, Commerce, Hindi, English, Or Art. But my way you should choose your career in Commerce with maths. Because you will have many options in commerce like CA, ICWA and CS. Regards, Yogesh Khandelwal |

Re: What are the career options after passing 10th from CBSE board?
The word career is a divisive word it’s a word that divides the normal life from business or professional life”.
The quote says it all. The word career is an important aspect of everyone’s life. Our present, future and our whole life is totally dependent on one thing that is our career. When a person evolves from a kid to a man or woman, one particular thing that shapes this transition is career. It’s a point in time where everyone stands on a threshold and which builds our fate. The threshold point is very crucial as the progression may increase rapidly our may see a drastic fall at any point in time. When a boy or girl passes out the 10th standard, they also face this interrogatory words or phrases. The situation is same of everyone but the condition varies from person to person. Student age is a fragile time, which is prone to many dangers. It’s very difficult to choose one particular stream after the 10th standard. Then the question arise what are the career option after 10th standard in our country? The answer is that we have three prominent streams or fields in which one can develop his or her future opportunities. The fields are Science, Commerce, and Arts. It’s totally dependent on the student to select one out of these three fields. Aptitude of the student, grades or marks of the student and one particular thing which is very important is the interest of the student. These all are responsible for the selection. As every higher secondary school regardless of the education board pays a lot of importance to all these points. So, after completing 10th , one should first understand what he wants to achieve and through which medium of education. Then the student should evaluate his or her aptitude, which gives vivid details as output. All of these is very important for the student to take his decision and then should working on achieving his goal. We should not take any decision in a hurry, and the parents should support their child to asses themselves. A student should have a good conversation with his teachers, elders. Yet, shouldn’t get confuse with the opinions. The student should have a persistent focus towards his or her goal. Otherwise things can get a little dizzy and might end up full of regrets. Any reluctance at this point might prove fatal. After the entire decision making the student should concentrate on the 10th examination because all the higher secondary schools pays prominent attention to the marks and grades. In India if you want to take science after 10th then you should have a good appetite for logical reasoning with excellent grades in mathematics and the science subjects which include physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science. In fact computer science and biology are elective subjects. After 10th one should also prepare for engineering or medical entrance examination if taken science. This is very vital for further studies. As for student opting for commerce, mathematics and good economic knowledge with good grades in these subjects plays an important role in admission in higher secondary. The student should also look for preparation in Charted Accountancy and Company secretary. As for arts student should have good grades and interest in subjects in any particular language with history, and geography. In India there is a notion that the CBSE board and the State boards are good for building base knowledge in science when compared to other boards like ISC but it totally depends on the student and his focus. These are the career opportunities that are available in India after 10th standard. Yet the opportunities vary from student to student and their interest in a particular stream. The bank exam perpartion is one of the most popular option to get job in bank direct after 10th. One can apply for the latest recruitment of clerks in Corporation Bank.
