What is the course structure of B.Sc Oceanography and how can we pursue a degree course in this area?
Hello Sir, I have passed out 12th. I want to do a degree course in Oceanography. But, I do know how many types are there in Oceanography. I am confused what should I choose. Can you help me? And can you tell me which subject should I take for B.Sc. Oceanography? Can you also tell any reference book for better knowledge of Oceanography? Thank you.

Those who have completed class 12th with physics ,chemistry and maths with atleast 60% marks are eligible for admission.
It's a 3 year bachelor's degree program . At the end of each year candidate has to clear the exam to get into next year. Yearly exams are held in bachelor's program. Oceanography offers postgraduate course as well as doctoral courses. In order to get admission to the course, the candidate has to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the college. PG course include MSc Oceanography MSc in Marine Biology M.tech in Ocean engineering M.tech in Ocean Technology Doctoral course M.phil in Marine Biology M.phil in Chemical Oceanology PhD in Oceanology. |
