what are the courses for 12 th passed student..Could u please tell me

12th passed candidate can have admission based on the subject selected in HSC. Science students can have admission to engineering or medical programs. Commerce stream students can have admission to CA, ICWA, or B.Com. B.A, BFA, BBA, BMS, etc is suitable for students coming from arts background. Course selection can be done according to your interest.

A 12th pass student has All the possible graduation courses in hand and in option provided you have it in accordance and within eligibility limits of your subjects which you had studied in your Higher Secondary classes.

At first I would tell you that since you have not mentioned which stream are you from or what is your higher secondary back ground, It would be a little difficult for me to precisely suggest you courses. I would still categorize and present the best to you.

->> There are basically 3 streams i.e Science, Commerce and Arts. Talking of the Science Stream, if you had PCB, then all the medical courses, medicine related courses like B.Pharma, Nursing, etc and other GRADUATION courses are open for you. But NOT ENGINEERING! This is because it requires Mathematics.
On the other hand if you had PCM, then all the GRADUATION and technical courses like Engineering B.E/B.Tech/Diploma, Architecture, etc BUT NOT MEDICAL because it required Biology. So if you have done PCMB, then the world is open for you.

->> Talking of Commerce, you can study B.Com, Business Studies, Business Management, Business Administration, MBA, CA, Accounting, Finance, Economics and other such subjects and do your graduation and post graduation in similar ones. Its again a very bright and colorful career option.

->> If you are from the Arts side, I would say that the technical, medical, business etc sides are not suggested for you. You should rather try creative courses like Music, Arts, Fashion Designing, or Law, Journalism, Language honors, B.A, M.A and other such courses. Remember they are equally valued in their own domain and areas of works in professional careers. So you have to work according in selecting which course you wish to take up as a 12th pass candidate.

if you are from CBSC board then you can make your career in engineering and medical. you want to appear in any exam than you can make your career in I.P.S ,I.S ,I.A.S etc by apeear in exam of UPSC.best of luck...

After 12th,there are lots of options that you can choose from,but merely choosing any such option blindly will do no good to you.Whatever you choose,it must be based upon your interests.

After 12th there is huge confusion on what to chose and what not.But with the help of your parents,teachers most importantly your own interests,it can be easy for anyone to chose what to do after passing 12th.


As i mentioned there are lots of options like,

1.Engineering->Mathematics in 12th is required for pursuing Engineering.

2.Medical->One must have Physics,Chemistry,Biology in their 12th for Medical.

3.Commerce->You can select B.Com if you do not have Science subjects in your 12th.

4.Law->You can go for Law after 12th.

5.Then there are other courses like BA,BCA etc after the 12th.

There are entrance examinations conducted for Engineering,Medical,Law through which you can get into some of the reputed Instituitions of India.

There are also job options after 12th,like in the Banking sector for clerical grade in SBI and also there job options conducted by the SSC Short Service Selection.


But going for higher studies is a much better option after 12th and one must choose the course based on his /her interests.

You have not mentioned the stream of your 10+2. If you have mentioned then it would have been easy to answer your questions.

You can opt for following courses if you are 12th pass student:

-Engineering Courses ( For PCM students only)
