What is the criteria to apply for B.Ed course?
Hello!
This is Yogyata Ahluwalia, I wanted to confirm about the Courses from this Institute. The course for District B:Ed, what are the criteria apply for this course Please reply soon. Thank you. |

The minimum educational qualification requires to apply for B.Ed course is a Graduate degree from a recognized university, while for some subjects you need a master degree/post-graduate degree before applying for B.Ed.
The minimum percentage cut off was 45%, which has raised to 50% now. However, some colleges till date accept the minimum percentage requirement of 45%. |

Dear friend,
B. Ed courses are conducted by central government and state governments separately. Eligibility In-service teachers with i) A bachelor degree or a higher degree from any recognized university. ii) Two years’ full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized by the central or a state government or a union territory. The teacher should be in service at the time of submitting application form as well as at the time of producing the original documents at the Regional Center. The experience certificate should be issued by the Principal or Headmaster/Headmistress. The requisite teaching experience of two years must be completed on or before the last date of submission of application as notified in the advertisement. The candidate those who are appearing in qualifying (Bachelor or a Higher degree) examination can also apply. But the candidate granted provisional admission on this basis will be required to submit the proof of having passed the qualifying examination by 31st March, 2007 otherwise the provisional admission will stand cancelled. The candidate should submit their application form at the concerned Regional Center under whose jurisdiction the school where he/she is working falls. If any student changes his/her school after qualifying the entrance test and where new school falls under the jurisdiction of another Regional Center, the admission to the programme will stand cancelled from both the Regional Centers. Entrance Examination Admission will be done Regional Center-wise on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The candidate will be required to submit only the filled-in application form without enclosures. The enclosures (documents) mentioned in the instructions for filling-in the application form are to be submitted later after receiving the letter of offer for admission to B.Ed. from the university after the entrance test. The Change of programme center outside the Region is not permissible. Min age as on 1st Jan. of the Academic Year No bar Duration (Min) 2 years Duration (Max) 4 years |

To apply for B.Ed exam you must have passed graduation.
After graduation you can apply for B.Ed entrance exam. There are various universities which conducts their entrance exam for admission in B.Ed course.If you are intrested in B.Ed course then you have to apply for entrance exam of the university in which you want to take admission. You can also take direct admission in B.Ed but for this you have to go Kashmir where you can get direct admission in B.Ed. B.Ed is one year cours.after B.Ed course you can apply for Teaching job.teaching job is best for B.Ed student.in B.Ed course they develop teaching habbit in you. |

For entry in B.ed course minimum qualification is graduation in any stream. minimum50% mark for candidate So they eligible for b.ed course this cousre is 2 years. |

Eligibility for B.Ed:
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. Admission Procedure: You have to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various state and universities for admission in various teaching institutions. These exams are generally held in the month of June-july. The results of these exams are generally out by July/Aug. The exam consists of : Objective type questions on the subject of English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Basic Arithmetic Teaching Potential and one local language in some states. You have to go through practical training courses, apart form theory classes. Some Institutes where you can pursue this course are: 1. Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. 2. Amity Institute of Education, New Delhi. 3. Bangalore University. 4. Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. 5. Panjab University, Chandigarh. 6. St. Alphosa's College of Education, Hyderabad. 7. Shree S. N. Shukla B.Ed. College, Rajkot. 8. University of Kashmir, Srinagar. 9. University of Mumbai. 10. Vivekananda College of Education, Tamil Nadu. |

B.Ed is the course which is the short form of Bachelor in Education. It is usually done by the people who wish to take up teaching as their careers. Thus it is required for those jobs in schools and many colleges. The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to apply for the B.Ed entrance exams and course are :- 1. You should be a minimum graduate in any stream with a minimum 50% aggregate in it to apply for the B.Ed 2. There are no age nor attempt limits for this course.
