JBT stands for Junior Basic Training . It is a two year diploma programme which qualifies its candidates in imparting elementary education .
The eligibility required for pursuing JBT programme in Haryana are as under :- -The candidate should be bonafide residents of Haryana state . -The candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Central or State board of Secondary Education . -There will be relaxation of 5 % marks in minimum qualifying marks in 10+2 for SC/BC/PWD candidates . -The candidate should have passed 10+2 with five subjects including English as one of the subjects . -The candidate should have passed 10th with Hindi/ Sanskrit . -The candidate age should not be less than 17 years at the time of applying for this course. |

JBT course can be pursued by students who have passed 10+2 (any stream) from a recognized board.Junior Basic Training course is technically an elementary teacher training course. The Minimum qualification required is 10+2 passed (any stream) from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate marks and course duration is 2 years.
