Hi, I would like to admit my child in Army School in class 9th. So, could anybody please tell me about the eligibility criteria and admission procedure details along with fees details.

Admission to Army(Sainik) school is only possible through the entrance test. Inorder to attend the entrance exam you have to apply through an application form issued by the Sainik Schools Society,New Delhi. You should fill the application form correctly and along with that upload the latest photogragh and signature. There will be a registration fee includes the cost of prospectus and Sainik school application form. Candidates belong to the General and Defence category have to pay 400 Rs. and those belong to SC/ST category have to pay Rs.250.
For 9th class admission,
1)the age should be between 13 to 15 years.
2)Candidates are required to study in class 8 from a recognized school.
3)The entrance exam question paper will appear in the English language only.
4)The question paper will be of 400 marks. There will be questions from mathematics,language, intelligence,general science,and social studies.

Eligibility criteria for 9th standard admission in Army School:-

For admission to class 9th a Candidate should not be less than 13 years and more than 14 years of age on 01 July of the year of admission.

Procedure to get admission for 9th standard admission in Army School:-

In order to get admission in Army School, first of all you have to get the admission form of the school. Now you have to fill it up and submit it. After that you have to appear for an Entrance Examination to be eligible for admission. If you qualify the examination, then you have to face an interview and you will be asked to submit the necessary documents and fees. Make sure you get the transfer certificate of the last school you have attended.

After clearing all the formalities you can get admission in Army School.
