Re: What is the criteria to write IPCC directly? I have completed B.Com Banking and insurance
IPCC stands for the Integrated Professional Competence course.
It is the second stage of Chartered Accountancy. The eligibility criteria for the IPCC is as below: >>Candidate can appear for the IPCC after clearing the Common Proficiency test and nine months of study. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree can directly appear for the IPCC, they need not appear for the CPT exam. So, you can register for the IPCC after completing bachelor's degree in commerce. IPCC has two groups of seven subjects: Group I: >>Paper I: Accounting >>Paper II: Business, Ethics and communication. >>Paper III: Cost Accounting and Financial Management. >>Paper IV: Taxation. Group II: Paper V: Advanced Accounting. Paper VI: Auditing and Assurance. Paper VII: Information technology and Strategic Management. For any more details and registration, visit www.icai.org. |

The full form for IPCC is Integrated Professional Competence course.
There are three stages in Chartered Accountancy course; *Foundation course *Intermediate course or IPCC, and *Final Course. The Central Council has approved the new announcement of allowing a Graduate student (B.com, B.Sc., BBA,etc) to directly join the IPCC course without writing CA-CPT Exam. The council announced that the eligibility criteria for the graduates to write IPCC directly is as under: - In case of a Commerce Graduate – 55% - In case of a Non-Commerce Graduate – 60% |
