I got 59% in my BE Mechanical Engineering but the rules for our is 'you should score 60% in the related stream so can they permit me to apply for GATE. What should I do now? Cant't I apply for GATE exam?

There is no minimum requirement of marks to be secured in B.E degree course to be eligible for appearing in GATE.

So, even having completed your B.E. degree course with 59% marks, you are eligible for appearing in GATE.
