to get seat in a good college minimum marks i have to obtain are..?

The minimum cut off marks last year in CSE/IT in GATE exam was 31.54.
It was less for the backward castes.

But the minimum marks required by most good colleges for the admission was above 40.
And obviously for the backward castes was around 35.

The minimum cut-off marks changes every year and is different for different streams.
You should not bother about these things as if you do well in the exam then you are bound to get admission in good colleges provided you apply in it after getting the "good score".

So just focus on your preparation and try to give your best.
