What is the difference between creamy layer and non-creamy layer?

My father income is Rs. 600,000 per annum. Does I belong to creamy layer or non-creamy layer? What is the basic difference between the two? What are the benefits of creamy layer?

Hi,
First of all you are belong to non-creamy layer.
The difference between creamy layer and non-creamy layer is only the income of family. If a person's family income is less than 8 lakh then he or she belong to non-creamy layer but when the income is greater than 8 lakh then he or she falls in creamy layer. If a person belongs to creamy layer then the person treated as general candidate not as OBC candidate.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
