Can I apply for UPSC exams under OBC Creamy Layer category after appearing for Non-Creamy Layer earlier?

Previously I had applied for IPSC Prelims in OBC Non-Creamy Layer category and now can I apply for the exam under OBC Creamy Layer category and if so how would my attempts be counted?

The number of attempts for OBC creamy and non creamy layer candidate is same. Non creamy layer candidates are eligible for reservation benefits.

If you are from creamy layer then you will not get reservation benefits. The total number of attempts for OBC candidates is nine.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
