I recently completed my Electronics Engineering degree, but couldn't get the job yet. Please tell me , whether I continue searching job or try to further study.

Its absolutely a personal matter to decide whether to study further or not
But i can help you by sharing my opinion with you
I think you can study further if you are actually interested in studies
If you think i am bored with this studies ,then you work for one year to get more energy to study .And on that time you can enjoy the happiness of receiving the money that we are made through our hard work
You can save it ,you can use that for your higher studies
So without troubling our parents ,we can study...!!
So its up to you to decide whether to study or not
Since our industries are little down, it will be better if you take M tech,MBA,etc
Your qualification can assure you a good job

you can work for one o two years if you are interested
or you can go for higher studies like mtech ,mba..
you can also appear for various competitive exams like
1.bsnl jto
2.railways
3.upsc
4.bank exams,,

congrats for your degree and for your question on job or company I want to tell you that you ask this question to your self that are interested for further study or job?Because more than what we say .you need to work or study so make self decision.

don't loose your patience if you are really interested to do job its better to do some additional courses to show in a better way to interviewer and just because of that you didn't get job you want to study is not good but if you have interest in study just go else continue your job but also do some courses too......

If you are interested in higher studies like MBA,M.Tech you can give a try in exams like CAT,GATE.Though you can get admission for these courses directly but it is always better to go through this exams as to get entry into some reputed college.

And if you don't want to go for higher studies there are options like doing some short term courses relevant to your branch like DCS Automation with PLC,Embedded or some software courses.It depends on you what to choose as per your interests.Getting a job will become abit easier after this courses.

I will advice you not to lose time,take instant decision so that you do not miss out on the opportunities.

see my friend what you are undergoing is a common dilemma amongst MANY students...job or study further ? well it is a decision you can make up only by listening to your heart . but if yopu want the pros and cons of both sides here they are :-
studying further will not only help give you a greater insight into your subject but also help you land a better job in todays cut-throat competition .
on the other hand if you take a job now then you get time to work your way up the success ladder and get promotions early.
but the final decision should rest on you .

I think first you should decide that what you really want? If if you think that you are ready for job so just try and try definitely you will get a job and but if you are interested in further study so go for M.Tech.
but remember dont give more than six months for searching job.

Most of student could not get a job even after any professional degree just because of less of communication skills or technical skills whether they have a degree and could not prove him/herself while facing interview. If you are also having this kind of problem than definitely you should for further study and while improving your communication skills and also technical skills.

Searching a govt. sector jobs like jobs of PSUs after completion of your B.Tech degree is really very tough work.

So i would like to suggest you to kindly search such jobs with your further studies like M.Tech or MBA.

And after your M.Tech degree, you will get preference in govt. sector jobs.

So, try to crack GATE exam , through which you can get good M.Tech colleges like IITs, NITs etc.

You should go for higher studies.

You have just completed your b-tech degree so you have lots of higher study scope .

M-TECH :- you must be cleared the GATE exam.
MBA:- you must be cleared the CAT or MAT exam.
MS:- only b-tech course
JRF:- only b-tech course
PHD:- with valid GATE score.

WHAT TO DO AFTER B.TECH

Both the option you have given is good for your future but I suggest you to go for further study because of following reasons

•-> Post graduation will enhance you knowledge in a specific field that allow you to work on a higher rank in some company

•-> Post graduation allows research work activity. Research work is a dream of every individual. everyone want to see his name on the pages of history. It gives you a license to discover a new thing in your subject of interest.

•-> you will have to possible get to work with national and international research team.

•-> Job opportunities after post graduation is very high.

You may choose different different streams for post graduation such ad M.Tech, MBA and M.SC etc.

Hopefully, you will choose a better one for yourself.

don't worry about jobs.

you will get the job soon.

IT companies will starts the off campus soon. where they will recruit bulk amount of candidate.

you can also appear in the govt PSU jobs.

other wise you can go for the higher study like

1.M.TECH.

2.MS

3.MBA.

etc.

It depends on your interest . If you are bored of studying then join any other companies and continue study after that or you can continue study while doing job only

There are many jobs for ECE students in public as well as private sectors..
BSNL ,MTNL are the public sector once u hav to try hard to crack them..
Where as infosis ,tcs,wiproo ,accenture,are some of private sectors..

u have to try hard to get agood CGPa and be smart..
