i am a student of msc biochemistry and is totally confused about what to do after it.is job an better option or should go on for phd?

There is no doubt that you are eligible enough to get job in good firms but if you want to see yourself on top working with the best companies and a six figure package in coming future, you must go for PhD because the one with the extreme level of knowledge in any field are offered best position in the top companies.

Dear friend

After completing M.sc biochemistry, i think you should go for a job. And after completing this course, you will get job in medical field and you can also work as Scientists, research officers, research associates and a chemical examiners.

But, if you are interested in furthur study, then P.hd is best for you. If you have a time and you are not interested in jobs now, then P.hd is the best option after completing
M.sc biochemistry............

It depends on you and your family condition, you can get a good job if you like now but if its higher studies and high paying job that you are interested in then go for phd, phd means many more years remember that !!! WHy dont you search for institutes offering correspondence phd ? that way you can do both.

If you find yourself capable of doing job,then it wold be better for you,go for it.

Otherwise do the Phd.

but dont hurry u can go for phD for higher studies .

u can research in this field andcan get better jobs in india and also in abroad with high salary.

Going for a job or going for a ph.d depends on your career aspirations. If you feel that you had enough of education and you are ready to work, go for a job. But if you feel that you want to go deep into your subject and do more of research and take up research related jobs in the future, you should do your ph.d. Taking a ph.d is also advisable if you are planning to get into academics at a later stage.

I have completed B.Sc.(general) and after it I am currently pursuing M.Sc. medical biochemistry. This course is about 4 years. If there is any kind of scope for me or not.

At this time are you really in need of job? if yes,then you can search for a suitable job..

Now if you want to pursue higher studies like doing Phd then it won't go waste..

You can get more high profile job in the pharmaceutical industry,may be Govt or private...

I think that you should pursue Phd now...

After M.Sc BIOTECHNOLOGY ,
it depends upon you and your interest.
But according to me it will be better if you go for P.hd.
You can also apply for job as a teacher,
Professor or lecture in colleges.

My Brother is doing M .Sc Biotechnology 1st year, My Question is He tell me after msc I will do phd so you tell me When I can apply phd & where? (Mumbai & Jalgaon)

u must choose what will be preferable to u ,then u select Ph.d or Jobs whatever u want
if u have money problem then u should join job otherwise u admission on Ph.d

After this course you have a lot of jobs in your field.If you are interested to study more and financially safe,you must go to phd courses.compared to msc salary is also good.

After msc in biochemistry you are eligible for good firms and you will get a very handsome salary......but doing phd will take to the top world of knowledge...it is the exterme level of knowledge........

right now, you will get job very easily but the salary might be low but once you completed your phd, your salary will also increase. So you must go for phd.

Look, there are two cases,
First, you can go for job and income a lot of money.

Second, ph.d is a prestigious degree to have with you. So if you have interest in reading and doing some research really different from everybody
you must go for ph.d because it's really better to first complete study and then go for job otherwise you can have to break the academic session.
Now,decision is totally depends upon you.

After completing Msc in biochemistry you should opt for higher studies i.e. PHd only when you are intersted in teaching line or doing research work.

The job prospects for biochemistry students are bright since it ia an emerging field in India. They mainly find opportunities in food, drink, pharmaceutical, agriculture and related industries, as also from medical research and hospital laboratories, specialist research organizations and government agencies.

Its better to study further because it ensures you the top position in your profession. PhD can give you more options than what you desrve if you do Job.
Job is not a bad idea at all but doing PhD will keeps you on the top. So, I suggest you to complete PhD then try to do Job.

see friend you have to choose any one according to your condition.

According to me if you have money problem or your family background is not so good or all about you need money at present then i suggest you to choose 1.

otherwise if your family background is educated and overall you want to complete your phd and then take job then choose 2.

there is no need to confused.now you are enough mature.you can take decision for your career.you have to choose your fields.

if your financial condition is good and you want to join teaching or research field then you should do phd. after doing phd you can join any top colleges as an assistant professor.you can earn handsome money.

and if you are interested in business or you don't have interest in above mentioned fields then you should join any good jobs.

you can do whatever you want. if you want to study more and want to research then go for p.hd.
but if you want to income money and interested in job then go for job.
but i think p.hd is better. because research work is a great work and also you will get all other opportunity if you do not like the research work.

This could be the best suggestion for you.

You have studied all along to PG. Now its the time to apply it in practice. put all the
learnt theories in to practical and gain the practical knowledge to the maximum extent.
Join the organizations from where you can gain maximum knowledge and a good experience.

And Even in PhD you will do the same thing. Better if your do it outside as you will get well paid and earn experience.

To conclude, I would say Go for a good job. if really interested in Phd, Do it after 2 years along with job. It is easily possible.

After M.Sc. Biochemistry, if you need a job then you can go for job there are many fields in which you can get a good job,

otherwise if you have time then go for Ph.D. complete it and then you can get a much better job or you can go for research..

don't get confused, just relax and what you want to do..

choose bio chemistry... its better or.. , go 4 oranic chem

What are the possible ways to go for PhD ?
Is it only through NET exam and onwards or is there any other way.
