Company profile: The SEC acts as an interface between the govt and the institutes and industry for development of solar energy. It works on solar energy techniques and contributes to the achievement in science and engineering. Its main functions are evaluation of technical and economic performance, coordination with RTCs etc. 

Job profile: The candidates have to execute and manage R & D activities in the centre. They have to work on different projects and techniques and work for the development of the solar energy and related services.

Eligibility: The candidates must be Indian nationals. The age limit for the post of Project Fellow is 28 years and it is 35 years for Research Associate.

Educational qualifications:
For Project Fellow: A first class MSc/B.E/B.Tech OR a first class M.Tech/M.E OR a first class MSc with 2 years experience.
For Research Associate: PhD in engineering/physics OR M.Tech/ME with 3 years experience in R&D.

No. of posts: There are 6 vacancies each for both the posts making it 12 in total.

Pay scale:
1. For Project Fellow: Rs12000 for BE/B.Tech/mSc and Rs14000 for ME/M.Tech/Msc with 2 years exp.
2. For Research Associate: Rs16000-18000 depending upon the experience after PhD

Selection procedure: The candidates will be short listed on merit basis and will be called for a written test/interview.
