dear friend, first of all you have to sit for engineering entrance exam .you can sit in the following exams.
1.iit jee
2.aieee
3.vit vellore
4 mahe
5 kit
and state level engineering exams.after clear the exam you can take cse or it stream to become a software enginner.

you may first do MCA with any pre-possesed bechelors degree
BSC IT, B TECH computer science and others

there are manny course related to software engg. you can do any one course after 12th to become a software enggeneer.

you have to give entrance exam...like..
wb-jee,iit-jee,aieee and so on.....after that your rank must be good position in list......according to rank you will get respective college......

and for this you have to give the entrance exams of the different engineering entrance exam,
and then take computer science department.

I think you can go for Diploma in computer. But you will not be able to get any degree as such

you should give aieee and iit exam with good preparation and do btech with computer science. Then you can become a software engineer.

Apply for the entrance exams of engineering like IIT,AIEEE,VIT,BIT,PET, and other private engineering collages and opt for CS or IT branch there.

Dear friend there are two main engineering exams and i.e. IIT and AIEEE.
First of all you have to give this exam and the basis of your rank you will get a college.

And in college opt for branches like CSE or IT as it deals with software.

After 12th you need to write CET/comed-k exams,in which you need to get good ranking and then you need to opt for
1) computer science
2)Information science stream

bpo sector companies takes people on recritment through bpo sector companies takes 12th pass too.
you can do additional courses on following:
1.imformatic systems
2.c pogramming
3.c+ pogramming
4.java etc.

appear for CET conducted by different states or
IIT-JEE exam or
AIEEE exam and do engineering in any stream

join NIIT and do a computer course in programming, java, etc

do BSc- computer science major

do MCA- computers.

you should do b.tech with cs stream to become an software engg. ok well

hii friend after finishing you can try for gate exam through which you get reputed colleges.... after you get score you can choose a B.E IT that is INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY based on full of programming softwares..... if you want to learn even hardware you an join B.E.computer science in that you get software and hardware.....

To be a software engineer after 12th you have to get admission to engineering colleges.
To do engineering from good colleges like IITs,NITs or etc you have to sit for an entrance exam conducted.You have to score good marks and rank in the exam .so dear you have to work hard for it.
you have to sit for exams like IITJEE, AIEEE, WBJEE etc
It will be better if you join coaching classes like FIITJEE,NARAYANA etc classes as they provide study materials and easy tricks to solve the papers.

there is no end of paths to become a S/W engineer after 12th.

you can appear for WBJEE,IIT-JEE,AIEEE to take admission in B.Tech,to become a S/W engineer you should select CSE or IT or ECE branch in councelling,
for this you have to score minimum 50% in PCM as well as 30 % in English.

besides this you can take admission in B.Sc-IT,BCA etc

As you are saying that you want be a software engineer, then you have to join in mentioned branch in Btech,Computer Sc, IT ,ECE..

the other way is you can join in BCA after your 12th.. after completion of your BCA you can go for MCA ... after that you will get a job in software sector as a software engineer..

You have to do MCA to become a software engineer and get a job in software companies.

Hi,
I would like to recommend u for being a software engineer not to go for engineering. As u will have to do C.S(computer science) or I.T(information technology) which are four year courses. And still u will be a bachelor of the degree.
I recommend for u to go for B.C.A and then M.C.A the degree is of six years but if u go for an integrated course of it u will end up your degree in just 5 years and will be having a masters degree, and nowadays the demand of M.C.A's are a lot more then the b.tech students. With this u will climb the ladder of success more quickly then others.

first of all you have to pass 12 with science subject physics, chemistry and mathematics.
then appear in engineering entrance examination like IIT JEE, AIEEE or other state based engineering entrance examination. then take admission in engineering with computer science or IT branch. after completion of your B.Tech you may go towards software job then you will become a software engineer.

also there is one other procedure. after 12 go for BCA. take admission in a reputed institution in BCA. after BCA complete MCA. then go for software job and you will become software engineer.

Just concentrate on your board exams and then on the entrance exams of various institutes.

Thus if you can get seat in good institute in CSE you can become a good software engineer.
Ofcourse you also can get software job by doing ECE,EEE or mechanical but studying some other and doing software job is not adviced to step higher positions.

these are india level exams.

there are many exams conducted on sate level fore every state for admissions of students in engineering.

go for them and pursue Engineering in computer science branch.

After 12, you can move toward software engg. through either govt /private college by doing btech.
Very well known IIT JEE exam which is conducted in month of April.
U can do coaching for this exam. After clearing this exam, u will enter IITs, where u can choose CS as your stream.
There is another Well known exam AIEEE, through this u will enter NITs and can pursue comp sc.
There are numerous private colleges for software engg like VIT, BITS, JUIT etc.

After 12th you can appear for the engineering entrance exams like IIT,AIEEE,WBJEE,UPTECH and other state joint entrance exam.
After getting chance in merit list you can get admission in the computer science engineering to a good engineering college.
You can score well in the B.tech around 80% then you will get good software jobs in highly reputed multinational companies.
So first prepare for the engineering entrance exam.

To become a sucessful software engineer you will need to get B-Tech in Computer Science(IT) dgree frome any reputed University. To get admission in Btech programe you will need to qualify Engineering Entrance Exam like IIT, AIEEE. To be eligble for these examinations you should have PCM in 12th standard.
You can even opt for MCA.
