If you want to be a part of merchant navy, you must have studied physics, chemistry and maths at + level. After pursuing +2 level of studies with the subject combination mentioned above, you will be able to pursue bachelors degree program in Nautical Science as well as in Marine Engineering.

A graduate in Nautical Science is able to join the merchant navy as Deck Cadet and a graduate in Marine engineering may join as junior engineer or fifth engineer.
