What is the education qualification required to become an ACP? Can you please provide me the information on the minimum criteria which is required for this? Where can I find the official information about this? Can you please share it with me?

ACP stands for Assistant Police Commissioner.You will have to crack the civil services examination.
Eligibility Criteria:- You must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Age Criteria:- 21 to 30 years. Exam Stages:- Preliminary Exam Mains Exam Selection Procedure:- Written exam & Interview |

ACP is an acronym for Assistant Commissioner of Police. There is no provision for direct recruitment to the post of ACP. IPS officers get ACP rank through promotion. To become an IPS officer,one needs to clear Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC every year.
The eligibility criteria for the civil services exam are as under:- -The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized college or university. -The candidate age should be in between 21 years to 32 years for general category. There is age relaxation for OBC candidates by 3 years, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates. -The exam process involves *Preliminary Exam *Main exam *Personality Interview. Additional Deputy Commissioner is the rank of IPS Officer.
Following are Education qualification for IPS officer: You should have graduation from a recognized university in any stream. Your age should be between 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given to reserved category students. 3 years for OBC 5 Years for SC/ST category You have to apply Civil Services exam to become ACP after graduation. Graduation is the minimum educational criteria required to become eligible for the post of ACP.
Civil Service examination is conducted every year by UPSC (union public service commission. The exams are being conducted into Three phase whose brief information has been given as below : 1. Pre-exam - This exam will be conducted in the month of May. You will become eligible for the Main exam if you qualify this Pre-exam a 2- Main exam- Will be conducted during the month of November. 3- Interview(Final result will be declared after calculation of marks of Pre-Exam, Mains-exam and Interview Age for General category Student : 21-30 yrs.
