i am studying MSc psycology in mysore univercity and i want to know the basic reuirement for KAS

Hello,
KAS (Karnataka Administrative Services) examination is conducted by the Karnataka Public Service Commission for the recruitment in the various civil services in the state.


KAS consists of-:

Preliminary Examination->It consists of objective type of questions.

Main Examination->Those clearing the preliminary stage are allowed to sit in the Main Examination.

Finally,candidates clearing the Main Examination are called for the Interviews.

Pattern-:

Prelims consists of 2 papers of 400 marks with 200 marks for each paper,

Paper-I-> General Studies with questions of National and International importance->80 marks.
Humanities->60 marks.All together Paper-I will be of 200 marks with 100 questions.Each question carrying 2 marks.

Paper-II->General Studies of State importance->40 marks.
General Mental Ability Test&General Science->30 marks each.
All questions will carry 2 marks with a total of 200 marks with 100 questions.



Eligibility-:
Candidates with a minimum qualification of Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university are eligible for the KAS exams.
Those appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible for the KAS examination.

Age Limit-:
The minimum Age of the candidate must be 21 years and not more than 35 years.

Relaxation->Sc/ST->5 years.
OBC->3 years.

The candidate should also meet the required physical standards as per the mentioned standards for the different posts in the advertisement.

you can apply this after graduation.

KAS EXAM ELIGIBILITY;-


---You must be graduate from a recognized university

-----general age limit is 21-30 years.

----you must be Indian citizen.


KAS exam is conducted to join civil service,
