BITSAT examination is conducted by Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani. The Notification for this year BITSAT Examination was already Published and to apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination from a recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

You should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English.

You have not scored 75% marks in aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects, If you have scored 60% Marks in each subjects in Physics, chemistry and Maths, then you are eligible for BITSAT Examination.

Final year appearing candidates are also apply for BITSAT Examination.

Eligibility Criteria :-
Candidates should have to pass the 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects means PCM.

Minimum marks required : Candidates must have to get a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Also candidate should have good knowledge in English.

Students who are appearing for 12th examination in the running year or who have passed 12th Examination in previous year only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT test.

If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered.

Direct Admission :- It is only given to the Board Toppers.

So, I think as your marks in 12th result was 90% in all, and 79% in PCM ( P-90%, C-78% and M - 69%) you are eligible for the exam as last date for form fill up was : 30th January 2010.


But if you are not still apply then for this year your chance is over. You have to try for other options like :
try to admit in other colleges, if you have valid AIEEE score then you can go for Engineering etc.

Eligibility for BITSAT exam:-

1.Candidate must have secure 75% aggregate in PCM..
And must have secure 60% marks in each subject individually..

2.Age should not be more than 25 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

As you don't have 75% aggregate in PCM then you are not eligible..
Sorry, my friend you will not be able to apply for BITSAT exam.

Students who have passed 12th examination in 2009 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2011. i have got 58% in physics in 12th class and in ap the total is for 1000 and adding the 2 years % and when i add two years i got more than 60%. am i elligible for bitsat

Only Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2012 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2011 are eligible to appear in the BITSAT 2012 Test.

If a candidate has taken more than one attempt in 12th class or its equivalent, only his latest performance is considered, provided this attempt has been for the full component of subjects / courses prescribed. Students who have passed 12th examination in 2010 or earlier are not eligible to appear in BITSAT Entrance Exam 2012. Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT 2012.

BITS Admissions will be made purely on merit. The merit position of the candidate for admission will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in the BITSAT Engineering Entrance Exam 2012. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in 12th examination, as mentioned above.

–Candidates should have to pass the Intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent from a recognised Central or State institution with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects which are called as PCM.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2012:

To get admission in any programme, candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State Board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. A candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination. Those candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination in 2012 are also eligible for BITSAT 2012 entrance examination.

BITSAT examination conducted by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

The candidate should be complete the 12th standard with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects from a recognized university.

The candidate pass the 12th standard with 75% of marks.

If you are not scored 75% marks in 12th standard you can score the marks of physics chemistry and mathematics with 60% of marks.

The final year candidates are eligible for this exam.
