Hey,
There are many colleges in India which are offering BCA course. These colleges are affiliated to different universities whereas some are autonomous. Each of the college is having its own eligibility criteria, but some of them are common. Here are some of the common eligibility criteria which are to be met by the student. ELIGIBILITY The student should have minimum educational qualification of class XII from some recognised university. The student should be able to complete his 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. Most of the colleges require a student who had mathematics, physics, and chemistry in his class XII. While there are some who require its student to have English as one of the subjects in class XII. There are some colleges who have some entrance exam for the students. The student will be eligible to apply for the college only in the condition when the student fulfils the minimum required marks in that entrance exam. Apart from the above-mentioned eligibility criteria there can be some more criteria which can be set by the universities. The eligibility criteria of different universities for B.ed can be obtained from websites of the respective universities Best of luck!!!! |

Hi
BCA stands for the Bachelor in Computer Applications. It is basically a full time 3 year Bachelor program course which can be taken up by 12th pass candidates. The Eligibility criteria in details are :- -> You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India with a pass certificate in all subjects that you attempted in your boards. -> Mathematics is a compulsory subject that you must have studied in your Higher Secondary if you wish to take up BCA. -> It can be pursued by any 12th pass from any stream, provided that the above point is fulfilled. -> As such it has neither any age nor attempt limit. Now there are some good colleges who ask for a more than 60% in your 12th boards. So it can also be a criteria at times. However BCA holds these terms, which need to be fulfilled by the applicant before he/she can take up this course. You can find out more about some of the best colleges for BCA in India by Clicking Here. Hope this helps.. All the best. Regards #RJ# ![]() |
