i am studing in 12th and after this i wish to join bca. Is there any entrance exam. How much marks want in 12th for joining bca. Is it compulsory to take maths?

Well there is no such requirement for having Mathematics in +2 for pursuing BCA. Weather a Arts, Commerce or Science student evryone is free to study BCA.

However, I have noticed few reputed Institutes even ask for Maths in +2 but actually according to eligibility criteria it is not required. Yeah if someone is having studied Maths in +2 then surely it would be helpful for them because while learning Programing Languages it will help alot.

Similarly for Entrance, there is no such exams like- for Engineering we have IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT etc.
Candidates are provided direct admission based on there aggregate of +2. Which may defer from Institute to institute. Some ask for 50% while some has set 60% as there minimm requirement.

Yeah its possible that some reputed Institute may conduct small admission test as they recieve lots of application. But thats also no issue.

yes you should have mathematics as a subject in 12th for doing BCA . yes you have to qualify entrance exam of the university you are applying for.thre no such requirement of marks in BCA

There is no such entrance exam for BCA.The only eligibility is 10+2.

It is not necessary to have maths in 10+2.

I think There is no Entrance Exam for BCA Course.And Maths subject is not compulsory in 12th.but,some Institution ask for Maths subject in 12th.Don't worry Many Institution offer BCA course without Maths subject in 12th.And there is no marks minimum.But some colleges ask the 60% and 65% marks in 12th.

ya obviously maths is a compulsory subject .try to get good marks .its just the starting of session.try to get as more as possible.

Yes Surely ! You can do BCA course after completing your 12th. There is no such restrictions that only Maths candidates are eligible for BCA course. Any 12th pass candidates from science, arts and commerce are eligible to apply for BCA course.

So, to get admission in BCA, you have to scored minimum 50% marks in your 12th examination, but the percentage eligiblity criteria are vary from colleges to colleges. Many colleges wants 60% marks.

The admission in BCA are based on 12th Marks. There is no such entrance examination are there, to get admission in BCA. You will get direct admission in BCA with the help of your 12th Marks.

But many top colleges will conducts his own entrance examination and after clear that exam, you will get admission in BCA course. So, please dont worry any candidates after 12th are eligible for BCA course.

there is an entrance exam before but now many of institute are taking admission through +2 percentage
there is also no restriction in BCA from any stream but if you have taken math then you are in profit because many of institution are preffering those student who are taken math in +2

Generally there is no such restriction of having Mathematics in 12th level in order to get admission to BCA(Bachelor in Computer Application) course though some Institutions required Math in 12th for admission to BCA course.

The candidate having completed 12th with minimum 50% marks from any stream can apply for BCA course. Generally there is no entrance exam for getting admission to BCA course but some reputed Institutions admit candidate on the basis of performance in entrance exam.

So you can get admission to BCA course as there is no compulsion of having Math in 12th .

It is an undergraduate course of 3 years
duration.


ELIGIBILITY:

A candidate should have completed their 12th with minimum 50%.

some of institute also required maths subject in 12th.

age limit should not exist 28 years.

you can join it directely after completing 12th.

No there is no compulsion to take Maths for joining BCA after 12th standard. If you are willing to take Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) after your 12th standard then here are some eligibility criteria for you;

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Qualifying 12th exam is enough in order to join BCA in any college.
2. Some colleges may take only students who secured above 60% marks in 12th standard.

If you take BCA then doing MCA followed by BCA can secure a good job in good IT company.

there is no specified exam to join bca.. however some universities have their own conduct so they took it..
the mininmum marks for it to b eligible is nore than 60% ... maths should be a compulsion as far as my experuence is concerned...

BCA is the bachelor in computer and application course.

you can get admission in BCA after completion of your higher secondary education (10+2) or it's equivalent course.but you must have maths subject during that.
So , Maths is compulsory for getting admission in BCA.
BCA college entry depends on college criteria. Mostly college will permit the admission as per 12th merit score.but some most reputed college conduct the entrance exam & interview for BCA course such as dayanand bca college , rohtak.
After completion of BCA , you can continue your further education in MCA.

As you have told you want to join BCA after 12th, so there is no particular entrance exam for BCA . You have to apply to college in which you want to do your BCA.

There is no compulsory subject in 12th for doing BCA. Students of all stream can apply for it. But some criteria may differ for admission in college. Some college asked mathematics as compulsory subjects . Some college also check the aggregate marks which may be above 50% , but it is not fixed it is also differ from college to college
