I'm holding a Diploma in Mechtronics. What is the eligibility criteria for lateral into B.Tech or BR in PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, Coimbatore? Am I eligible?

Eligibility Criteria Required for getting admission into B.Tech through Lateral Entry Scheme into PSG Institute of Technology:

There is a certain educational qualification required in order to be eligible for pursuing B.Tech through Lateral Entry Scheme.

>> Pass in Higher Secondary Course level from a recognized board in order to be eligible

(or)

>> Diploma course in Engineering or Technology in the concerned stream from a recognized university by the state board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you may be eligible to get admission into Mechanical Engineering of B.Tech. Admission is generally done through Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry Admission counselling based on the merit you secured.
