What is the eligibility criteria to write UGC NET with Library and Information Science subject area?
I did M.Sc. Information Science first class from Manipal University. May I appear in UGC NET with Library and Information Science subject or for which subject I am eligible to appear in UGC NET 2020 session?

Candidates should have post-graduation degree in the same or related subjects. For General Category Aspirants – Minimum 55% aggregate in Masters' Degree OR equivalent examination from any of the UGC Approved Universities. For ST/SC/OBC/ PWD Category and Transgender Aspirants – Minimum 50% aggregate in Masters' Degree
