Since you are 10+2 now so you are not eligible to apply for the combined defence examination. You can apply for this examination after the graduation only.
The CDS examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidate as an officer in Air force, Army and Navy. The eligibility required for this examination is given below:

Education Qualification
For the CDS examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for this examination.
For the Indian Air force and Navy a candidate should have physics and maths at 10+2.

Age Limit
The age limit required for the CDS examination is given below:
Indian Military Academy 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy 19-25Years
Naval Academy 19-23 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years

CDS Educational Qualifications : 1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy : Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. ( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry.
3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of recognized University ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply but they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination to reach the Army HQ / Rtg.
CDSE Entry, West Block III, R K Puram, New Delhi – 110 066 in case of IMA / SSC first choice candidates and Naval HQ “DMPR” ( OI. & R Section ), Room No. 204, ‘C’ Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi – 110011 in case of Navy first choice candidates and PO3 (A) / Air Headquarters, ‘J’ Block, Room No. 17, Opp. Vayu Bhawan, Motilal Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110011 in case of Air Force first choice candidates by the following dates failing which their candidature will stand cancelled :
(i) For admission to IMA, Naval and Air Force Academy on or before 13th November, 2012.
(ii) For admission to Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai on or before 1st February, 2013.
Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognized by government as equivalent to professional and technical degrees would also be eligible for admission to the examination.
In exceptional cases the Commission may treat a candidate, who does not possess any of the qualifications prescribed in this rule as educationally qualified provided that he possesses qualifications, the standard of which in the opinion of the Commission, justifies his admission to the examination.


Note I : Candidates, who have yet to pass their degree examination will be eligible only if they are studying in the final year of degree examination. Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the final year Degree Examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC Examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them. They are required to submit proof of passing the Degree examination by the prescribed date and no request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of late conduct of basic qualifying University Examination, delay in declaration of results or any other ground whatsoever.

Note II : Candidates who are debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of commission in the Defence Services shall not be eligible for admission to the examination and if admitted, their candidature will be cancelled.


Note III : In the event of Air Force candidates being suspended from Flying Training for failure to learn flying, they would be absorbed in the Navigation / Administration / Logistic Branch of the IAF. This will be subject to availability of vacancies and fulfilling the laid down qualitative requirements ( including 60% in graduation ).

you are doing 12th class yet so you are not eligible for exam. you can apply for exam as per experience but you rank will not be count for a job

Sorry to say you are not eligible for CDS exam. To appear in CDS exam you
will have to complete Graduate degree.

UPSC conduct the CDS exam every year two time for IMA,Navel Academy,
Air force academy,OTA.

Age limit-

for IMA - 19 to 24
for Navel Academy- 19 to 22
for Air force academy- 19 to 23
for OTA -19 to 25

Educational Qualification-

I.For I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy-- Aspirant should be graduate
degree from recognized University.
II.For Naval Academy-- Aspirant should be B.Sc.(with Physics &
Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS.

Girls are only eligible to apply for Indian Officer's Training Academy(OTA) of CDS.

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years of age with good Physical and Mental health.

So being a girl candidate you can apply for OTA of CDS after completion of Graduation.

CDS is Combined Defense Service. The examination is conducted for the admission of the candidates into the 3 wings of defense.
>Air Force Academy;
>Naval Academy;
>Indian Military Academy;
>Officer's Training Academy.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1)AGE:
For Indian Military Academy: 19-24 years.
For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
For Naval Academy:19-22 years.

2)EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:The candidate must have a Bachelor degree in any stream from any recognized university.

3)PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
Height: 157cms for men and 153cms for women.
Weight:should be more than 50kgs.
Sight:should not be color-blind or night-blind.

4)SEX & MARTIAL STATUS: Both unmarried male and female are eligible to apply.

The examination have 3 stages

Eligibility Criteria for CDS Exam :

CDS stands for combined defense service conducted by the union public service commission under the defense sector service and this is inviting the applications every year for requiting the following posts through CDS exam they include;..

>> Indian Military Academy
>> Air Force Academy
>> Naval Academy
>> Officers’ Training Academy

For requiting the above mention posts, required educational qualifications are you must completed the graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage.

NOTE : Girls are NOT Eligible and Only Male candidates are eligible.

Yes, Definitely Girls are eligible to apply for CDS Examination, But for this you have to complete your Graduate degree course in any Discipline from a recognised University.

The "Combined Defence Services" Examination is conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. The Notification for the examination is usually released in the months of October and June, and the examinations are conducted in February and November respectively. Only unmarried graduates are eligible to sit for the exam. Successful candidates are admitted into the respective Academies after an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).

Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Military Academy/Officers' Training Academy:-
Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
For Naval Academy:-
B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering
For Air Force Academy:-

Girls are definitely eligible for CDS examination but they must have following qualifications.

-Graduates in any discipline from a recognised university . For Air Force and Navy Graduation should be in Engineering or Physics or Maths.

-Age required for CDS examination is as follows:

Air Force Academy- 19 to 23 years.

Naval Academy- 19 to 22 years.

Indian Military Academy- 19 to 24 years.

Officers Training Academy- 19 to 25 years.

If you have above then you can apply for CDS examination.

There will be Objective Type Paper, SSB and Medical Examination that you have to pass in order to get entry into the Defence.

So start preparing for CDS examination if you really want to become an Defence officer.

Since you are completed intermediate examination then you are not eligible to apply for the CDS Examination . To apply for the CDS Examination , you need to completed your graduation after completing graduation you are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Requirements for appearing in CDS

Applicants are eligible to appear for the UPSC Combined Defence Services Exam only after the completion of their bachelor's degree..

Right now you have only cleared your 12th hence you are currently not eligible for appearing for the CDS Exam..

The minimum requirements which a candidate needs to fulfill for appearing for the CDS Exam are as follows :-

>> graduation degree from a recognized University or institution in any discipline is a must for all the applicants..

>> age limit of the candidates for joining various academies are as follows :-
> Air Force Academy - 19-23 years
> Naval Academy - 19-22 years

In the CDS exams there are 4 wings
>> IMA
>> OTA
>>Airforce
>> Navy

Girls are only allowed to apply for the OTA wing

Educational qualifications required to apply for OTA is Graduation pass in any stream

Age should be between 19 to 25 years
