It is good to see that you are interested to apply for NET Examination and to apply for this examination, you have to complete your Post graduate degree course first from a recognised University, Final year appearing post graduate candidates are also apply for this examination.

But you have to scored minimum 55% marks in your post graduation to apply for NET Examination.

The examination is conducted in June and December every year and this year June NET Examination was already completed and December NET Examination Notification is going to be published soon in the month of October, when the notification published online registrations were started.

There is no Maximum age limit to apply for Lectureship post, but you are not more than 28 years for JRF.

You have to select one subject in NET on the basis of your post graduation.

If your post graduation is complete after graduation and scored minimum 55% marks then only you can apply for NET Examination.

The examination is objective with no negative marking, you can check the official website of NET for more details about this examination.

Post Graduation Diploma in Management (PGDM) is equivalent to master degree in India. Therefore you are eligible for the National Eligibility Test. Your degree will be considered as post graduation course.

The National Eligibility Test is conducted for college lectureship as well Junior Research Fellowship. However you can only apply for the college lectureship since your age is 44 years.

To be eligible for JRF you should have been less than 28 years old. Therefore I hope Junior Research Fellowship was not your priority in the National Eligibility Test. I will like to point out that your age is sufficient for the college lectureship since there is no upper age limit for this.

Part time degree is also accepted by the University Grants Commission for the National Eligibility Test.

Eligibility

1. Post graduation degree from a valid college.

2. 55 percent or more marks in the course.

3. 50 percent or more for SC/ST.

4. Your subject should be relevant to PG course.

5. Final year students can also apply. This is not applicable in your case.

6. The JRF age limit is 28 years.

7. JRF age limit for OBC is 31 years.

8. 33 years is age limit for SC/ST student applying for JRF.

9. For college lectureship there is no upper age limit.
