Eligibility for UGC-NET and CSIR-NET for Humanities, Computer Science and MCA candidates?

Hello Sir,

I browsed through the information regarding the NET eligibility and I am not clear regarding the same. Is it like UGC-NET exam can be given by humanities and arts stream? And on the other hand computer science post graduates are eligible to give CSIR-NET.
Are the computer science students (MCA) not eligible for UGC-NET Exam?
Are the computer science students (MCA) eligible only for CSIR-NET Exam?

i have opted humanities with ip can i do mca i have good mathematical apptitude and can u suggests me scope in humanities with ip

You have completed MCA degree, so you are eligible for the UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

The educational qualification required for the UGC NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST category candidates. A final year student is also eligible for the UGC NET exam.

There are no age criteria for the UGC NET exam, but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
