What is the eligibility for UPSC ESE or IES examination?
I am a central government employee having 6 years of experience and I belong to OBC caste category. My fate of birth is 15th July, 1984. Am I eligible to apply for UPSC ESE or IES examination? Is there any age restriction? Any reservation or relaxation for central government employees?

Any Engineering graduates belonging from 21 to 30 years of age are eligible for this examination. The maximum age relaxation will be 5 years for SC/ST and it will be 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates who have served in defence will entertain the maximum age relaxation of 5 years. I think you will not be eligible for IES 2019 or 2020.
