Eligibility: Applicant should have completed a minimum of 16 years of education to apply for the IIPM fellowship programs. However, it is extremely preferred that the applicants have relevant work experience and have previously published research papers, articles etc.

Stipend Details: IIPM fellows would be awarded a monthly stipend that would be amongst the best in the academic field. Fellows would however have to pay the course fees. Details would be provided by respective Department & Unit Heads at IIPM once the applications are received.

Selection Methodology: Applicants would be asked to submit summaries of their interest areas. Once these are received, they would have to undergo interviews with specific Heads of Departments & Units. Selection results, stipend amounts and other fees would be communicated on the basis of these interviews.

Indian Institute of Project Management (IIPM) conducts Entrance exam each year for selecting students for MBA.

This entrance exam or Selection test is conducted at over 20 centres in India.
This test also called as EPAT ( Enterpreneurship Planning Admission Test)
consists of Three parts namely, Written test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Candidates who got selected in all the 3 stages only would be given admission.

For applying to appear on the test, you should get minimum 50% in aggregate in your Degree level.

Hope this clarifies your doubt.

i think qualifying in CAT exams will give you chance.

2 iipm colleges are unapproved by aicte in their latest list of unapproved colleges....moreover iipm is all hype and not worthwhile...if you are planning to do MBA concentrate on cat....a 80 percentile in cat will land you in decent college....try to aim for that not less....if u get more its better.....

2 of iipm colleges appear in the list of unapproved colleges published by aicte...iipm is all hype and not worthwhile...give cat this year and aim for 80+ percentile....you would get many decent colleges with that score....and trust me scoring 80+ is not a big task....moreover many colleges don't consider sectional cut-off so if you are weak in some section it would not hamper your chances but do try to improve your weak section...you have still a lot of time left on your hands....

That's nice you had decided to Enroll for MBA.

BUT why you want to opt for IIPM??

Just by reading its Attracting ADS in leading Newspapers.

Why do you want to pack your life and career by persuing a course from the institute which is niether approved by UGC nor affiliated with AICTE.

In year 2009 NACC, UGC, and few governing bodies had issued the list for FAKE or Non Affiliated institutes, among which name of IIPM was also included.

However, IIPM charge 5.26 Lacs for MBA and 8.85 Lacs for BBA+MBA integrated as it does not offers only BBA.

But I will not advice you anything that may harm your Career. I am not blaming the institute,but telling the fact which I have learnt and Herd from those who had appeared for Selection process of IIPM.

Why did IIPM is not Affiliated to AICTE and UGC??? As government has made it mandatory for every Technical Education providing Institute to be affiliated from AICTE or other State Technical Board.

First of all, thanks a lot faiyaz sir, as i was looking forward to IIPM, as i was unaware of all this.



Now Santosh, if you want to do MBA, almost every institute go for MAT ranking.

However it is not compulsary in majority of colleges.

IIPM is positioning itself a premium B school beyond IIM's. But in most of the rankings, IIM's are way ahead and matches global standard in quality MBA program. You should be giving first priority to PGDM programs in colleges admitted through CAT exam. AICTE approved courses and institutions are a better safe bet to pursue rather than something totally unconventional. If you have lots of money and ready to take risk, then IIPM could be a choice too. IIPM has its own test E-PAT, details are available in their site.

@ santosh don't opt for mat colleges as far as possible since even the best college ( of those which accept mat score ) doesn't feature in top 50 colleges in India....so i would stress my point again appear for cat and try to get 80+ so that you can look forward to a good future in a good b-school.....

If you are interested to do MBA from IIPM, then for this you have to appear in the CAT exams. After clear the CAT exams you will get admission in IIPM. IIPM will also conducts his own entrance exams, you have also appear the IIPM entrance exams. After clear this exams you will appear the GD and PI. If you have clear the GD and PI, then definately you will get admission in IIPM.

But, i will suggest you, IIPM was the most costly college and after completing MBA from IIPM, its not guranteed, that you will get a good jobs in future. The placement is not good for IIPM college.

So, i will suggest you, just appear the CAT and MAT exams. If you have score good marks in CAT/MAT exams, you will definately get a good MBA college. So, dont go for
IIPM, just think about IIM and other top colleges. After cmpleting MBA from IIM, you will get good jobs in future with a huge salary pacakage.........

The entrance test at iipm comprises of a unique e-pat test based on evaluation of EQ and a personal interview. please visit iipm tower to register for the e-pat test.iipm counsellor will explain you everything in detail.

there is a all india examination takwen by iipm.
While there are papers in it which are common to all like General Knowledge(including current affairs), English etc there are optional papers also which depends on your field of graduation. And finally there are interviews as well.

The standard requirement is 50% aggregate in Graduation, which is demanded by more or less every institute, while the reputed one demands at least 60%.

However, few institutes like- JBIMS, SIMSREE, Wellingkars, Somiya etc. are good option.


However, going through Entrance like- MH-CET is also a good option as because it will provide best institues through it.

Why you want to go for IIPM
just because of fake advertisements or placement records

In total there are 2 IIPM institutes which are not affiliated to AICTE & UGC

first of all i think it is a not good decision to take admission in IIPM. if you really want to study MBA go for the other institution. to take admission in MBA you may appear in the examination CAT or MAT. the good position in CAT will give you a opportunity to choose a very good college to take admission. go for it and make your future bright. best of luck.

The selection process is done in 2 stages:

A good score in CAT would probably make you eligible for all MBA colleges...But i suggest IIPM is not a good option as recent news have told many fake companies are related to it..I suggest study harder and get into a much better college...good luck !!

The candidates need to avail the application form from various means of their availability. The application form can either be downloaded from the official website or can be collected in person or by post by paying the specified amount.

After availing the application form one needs to fill it up with all the required data. The application form is to be sent before the last date of submission. Forms after the last date and incomplete forms are liable of getting rejected.


This test consists of Three parts
Written test
Group Discussion
Personal Interview.

Candidates who go through 3 stages successfully ,would be given admission.

For applying to appear on the test, you should get minimum 50% in aggregate in your Degree level.

That's nice you had decided to Enroll for MBA.

BUT why you want to opt for IIPM??

Just by reading its Attracting ADS in leading Newspapers.

Why do you want to pack your life and career by persuing a course from the institute which is niether approved by UGC nor affiliated with AICTE.

In year 2009 NACC, UGC, and few governing bodies had issued the list for FAKE or Non Affiliated institutes, among which name of IIPM was also included.

However, IIPM charge 5.26 Lacs for MBA and 8.85 Lacs for BBA+MBA integrated as it does not offers only BBA.

But I will not advice you anything that may harm your Career. I am not blaming the institute,but telling the fact which I have learnt and Herd from those who had appeared for Selection process of IIPM.

Why did IIPM is not Affiliated to AICTE and UGC??? As government has made it mandatory for every Technical Education providing Institute to be affiliated from AICTE or other State Technical Board.

E-PAT is a separate entrance exam for admission into IIPM with 18 branches all
over india.It is conducted yearly once.The fee for the exam costs you around
1000/-
The fee structure for mba in iipm's costs you around 6-7 lacks.(as per the
stream in mba)
IIPMs Admission test E-PAT (Entrepreneurship & Planning Admission Test) is based upon a written test, group discussion and inter view.
