Re: What is the exam pattern of Central Eligibility Test (CET)?
CTET Exam Pattern: The national level exam is conducted at two levels, Paper 1 (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary Stage). Both the papers are conducted on a single day in different shifts. Read CTET Syllabus
Paper 1: for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to class 5 Paper 2: for candidates who wish to teach class 6 to class 8 In case candidates wish to qualify for recruitment at both levels, they can appear for both the papers in CTET exam. Paper 1 consists of 5 section while Paper 2 consists of 4 sections. Candidates have to choose between Mathematics & Science and Social Studies. |

Re: What is the exam pattern of Central Eligibility Test (CET)?
CET is the ‘Common Eligibility Test’, which SSC (Staff Selection Commission) will conduct.
This exam was proposed in the Rajya Sabha. The CET exam pattern that is proposed is tentative. After the implementation of CET exam, the pattern of government exam recruitment will change. In fact, the entire recruitment system in India will be revamped and rationalized in 2 stages, namely 1. Tier-I - CET A Common Screening Test will be conducted in place of the Preliminary Tier-I examinations conducted by all recruiting bodies of the Government of India, i.e. SSC, Railways, Banking, etc; 2. Tier-II - SSC, Bank or Railways After you clear the CET Tier I exam, you qualify to appear in the Main Exam or Tier II exam of SSC, Bank exam or Railways. The Tier II will be conducted independently by the concerned exam conducting bodies. |
