What is the eye sight requirement for joining Army as a Soldier?


I am very much interested in joining Army as a Soldier but I my eye sight is very low with minus power. So, can I apply for Indian Army at the post of Soldier? What is the normal eye sight requirement for the eyes?

myopia should not be more than -3.5D and hypermetropia should not be more than+3.5D including astigmation.
