Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) is an Undergraduate Academic Degree awarded for a course or a program in the field of Education. It's demand has grown in the last one or two years which clearly depicts that the demand for the position of teachers is also growing.

It is a one year course.

B.Ed Correspondence or Distance Learning is also available in various Institutes and is of 2 Years duration.

FEE STRUCTURE

The total fee structure for B.ed course will cost around Rs.25,000 - Rs. 30,000/- (govt. colleges)

But it varies from state to state and university to university. Private university costs more as compared to privates ones.

Since you have not mentioned your choice for state, I can only give you a vague idea about the fee structure.

For example, private universities in Jharkhand may take 40,000 per year, whereas govt. colleges may take 12-15,0000/- per year.

You have to appear in an entrance test conducted by the various state and universities for admission in various teaching institutions.

These exams are generally held in the month of June-July.
