IPS stands for INDIAN POLICE SERVICE.
IPS exam is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

The height and weight requirements for IPS exam:






Eligibility criteria:


The candidate should be complete graduation from a aggregate university.

Percentage is not required to appear this exam.

Final year candidates also eligible.


Nationality:

Citizen of india.


Age criteria:

General candidates--> 21 years to 30 years,

OBC candidates--> 21 years to 33 years,

SC/ST candidates--> 21 years to 35 years.

No.of attempts:

For general 4 times,

For OBC candidates 7times,

For SC/ST Candidates no limit.


Selection procedure:
