Re: What is IBPS exam? Can I give Bank PO or Clerk exam without giving IBPS exam
Dear Friend,
IBPS Stands for Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection. From 2011 , its the sole right of IBPS to conduct common written examinations for Clerical and Bank PO posts for the below mentioned 19 public sector banks : Apart from IBPS , only SBI Conducts its own examination for Bank Clerical and PO posts. So , as per your ask , yes you can give SBI Bank PO or Clerical Exam if you do not like to give the IBPS Common written examination. The Eligibility Criteria that you have to fulfill for SBI Banking Exam are : * Educational Qualification : Graduation in any stream with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized college/university. * Age must be in between 18-28 years for Clerical post and 21-30 years for PO Post. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC candidates and of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
