Common entrance exam for MCA is AIMCET. General awareness, mathematics, computer awareness, analytical ability, etc are asked for the test. NIMCET is conducted for MCA admission in NIT. Mathematics, analytical ability, logical reasoning, English language, etc are asked for NIMCET. Syllabus for MCA entrance test can be collected from the web portal of the authority that carry out the test.

MCA stands for maser of computer application and this is a 3 years program and this program is mainly deals with computer applications .

Those Candidates have obtained 50% marks in Graduation degree are applicable for MCA Entrance exam. (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

You must have mathematics subject in 12th or Graduation standard.

MCA Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

• You must possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  
• At graduation level you need to get at least 50% of marks in aggregate to apply for this course. There is relaxation available for the reserved category candidates.
  
• You should have mathematics as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level or above.
  
• Final year students who are just about to sit for the final exam or awaiting the result of the final exam can also sit for this exam.

Exam Pattern:-

The exam pattern basically differs from one college to the other but questions are generally asked from the following sections:-
