how to get in CBI?is there is any entrance test or medical?if yes then whats the crteria to select?whats the qualification is required for this?whwn the enyrance exam held and when?what kind of question asked and how many and marking system?

SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).

Following is the eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational qualification: The minimum educational qualification required for applying to the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of any recognized Indian University.

2. Age:
(i) For Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI, candidates must be aged between 20 and 27 years.
(ii) For Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs etc., candidates must be aged between 18 and 27 years.
(iii) For Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces, candidates must be aged between 20 and 25 years.

3. Scheme of questions: The SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is divided into two stages, each carrying maximum marks of 100 and having duration of 2 hours. The First Section tests the General Intelligence & General Awareness of the candidates while the Second Section is on Arithmetic

Eligibility Criteria for SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination

The minimum educational qualification required for applying to the SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of any recognized Indian University. The age limit of candidates applying for the various posts are listed below:

For Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI, candidates must be aged between 20 and 27 years.
For Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs etc., candidates must be aged between 18 and 27 years.
For Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces, candidates must be aged between 20 and 25 years.
Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes etc. as per the norms stipulated by the Government of India.

SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination Pattern

The SSC Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination is divided into two stages, each carrying maximum marks of 100 and having duration of 2 hours. The First Section tests the General Intelligence & General Awareness of the candidates while the Second Section is on Arithmetic.

Each section contains a total of 100 questions of objective type, multiple-choice pattern. Questions of the examination are set in both Hindi and English.

for this you need to fill the form of SSC combined graduate preliminary examination .
eligibility-
you need to be graduated with any stream from a recognised university and your university should be approved by UGC.
age-
For
assisant grade and sub inspector in CBI-age should 20 to 27
and for
Inspector ,divisonal accountant,age 18 to 27

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CBI EXAM

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology)

But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

The selection process is contain in two stage

In first stage written test:-

1)General question ---------- 200marks
2)English -------------------200 marks

In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks.

a. Part I - Written Examination carrying: 400 marks
i. General Test
ii. General Intelligence and Reasoning
iii. General Awareness
iv. Numerical Ability

b. Part II - Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.
i. English Language
ii. Language Comprehension
iii. Communication / Writing
iv. Ability Test
