Teachers with two or more years of full time teaching experience can also apply. Candidates can get the student handbook and prospectus from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi- 110068 or from any Regional Centre of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs 1,050 through a Demand Draft/IPO in favour of IGNOU. Candidates can also obtain the same by paying Rs 1,000 in cash at the respective sales counters. You can also download the application rom the official website. www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD/IPO for Rs 1,050 in favour of IGNOU, payable at New Delhi / city of Regional Centre. The last date for submission of application form is July 15, 2014 and entrance test is on August 17, 2014.
Candidates who have scored 45% aggregate marks in degree are eligible to get admissions to B. Ed courses as per government orders. It is a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) norms for admissions to B. Ed courses which has decided 45% as the minimum marks for admission. Incase of reserved categories and physically handicapped, minimum marks for seeking admission will be 40 per cent. There is no age limit for the admission too.
