What is the lower age limit to be eligible for NDA exam?
I am actually born in 9th October, 1999. Can I appear for NDA entrance examination in either 2019 or 2020 exams session? If not, then in which year would I'll be able to attempt NDA exam?

The age limit to apply for NDA (Nationa Defense Academy) examination is 16.5 years to 19.5 years for all candidates.
So, having born on 09.10.1999, you are not eligible for appearing in NDA examination any more as your age is above 19.5 years. For more details regarding NDA examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in. |

NDA is National Defence Academy. Examination is conducted by UPSC.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years and only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination. Examination is conducted in two stages for final selection. You are not eligible to appear in the examination as per the age limit criteria. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |

NDA is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.
NDA is conducted in two stages. The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed 12th or pursuing from a recognised board. Examination is conducted for recruitment as an officer in Indian Army. Your age is par with the age limit to appear in the examination. So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination. The first thing I would like to let you know that the age limit for appearing in NDA (National Defence Academy) examination is 16.5 years to 19.5 years.
So, having born on 09.10.1999, you are not eligible for appearing in the NDA examination as your age has crossed the maximum permissible age to apply for the same examination. |

The lower age limit to be eligible for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19.5 years. The educational qualifications required for the NDA examination mentioned below:- 1. Candidates must have completed their 12th standard with PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) from any recognised board. 2. Age Relaxation:- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. 3. Sex:- Male. 4. Nationality:- Indian. 5. Physically and mentally fit. 6. Marital status:- Unmarried. |
