What is the lower and upper age limit to write the SSC Board exams?


Hi, my daughter's DOB : 05/03/2007 now at present she is studying in 9th standard and next year she is going to write the SSC Board exams in 2021. Please tell me whether her age is eligible to write SSC Board exams or not?

There is no notification regarding the upper age limit criteria decided by the different recognised board to appear in the board examination.

It is the responsibility of the Directorate of State Education to determine the age limit qualification to appear in the examination.

So, visit the official website of the concerned office for more information.

Yes, your daughter is eligible to write Secondary School certificate examination in 2021 with date of birth in year 2007. The minimum requirement to appear for SSC exam is that candidate must have studied upto 8 standard and registered for board exam in ninth standard from a recognized school.

The age at which a candidate fulfills the above mentioned criteria, he/she is able to appear for SSC exam. There is no upper age limit to appear for SSC board exams.

Age limit for class 10th are...

**As per the CBSE norms, the minimum age required for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination ( All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE ) is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which students is pursuing his/her Class 10th.

And their is no any upper age limit for class 10th

ssc.nic.ac.in for better precaution.
Because the age limit is depend on the type of exam in which you are intrested .

:- For CGL its minimum of 18 and maximum of 32 years ...
