what is the maximam age of ctet...please send to me the age of it

There's no age limit for appearing the CTET Examination but there are certain educational qualifications which you need to qualify for appearing the examination.The qualifications are:-

Minimum Qualifications for Classes 1'st-5'th :Primary Stage
Senior Secondary with at least a minimum of 50% and passed or appearing in final
year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.Candidates who have completed their graduation or even those who are in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education are eligible for appearing the examination.
I have attached the eligibility criteria below.Please go through it.

Minimum Qualification for Classes 6'th-8'th: Elementary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks in graduation.Candidates who are appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed),B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) can even apply.

If certificate is valid for 7 years then how it is possible to decide mini or max age
join the exam first and wait for next procedure for recrutnent

CTET is a Central Teacher Eligibility Test. In this there is following post-

Teacher(for classes I to V): Primary Stage
Teacher(for classes Vi to VII): Elementary Stage

Eligibility according to the Primary Stage:

Graduation of two years Diploma in Elementary education.
At least 45% of marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education.

Eligibility according to Elementary Stage:

Graduation with at least 50% marks in Diploma or Bachelor Elementary Education or B.ed.


Important Dates:

Sale of Application Form:5th Nov to 25th Nov 2011

Online registration opening:1 November 2011
Closing:25 Nov 2011

Last date for receipt of Application form in CBSE(Central Board of Secondary education):30 Nov 2011 both online and offline

Date of written test exam :29 Jan 2012

Paper I:10 am to 11:30 pm
Paper II:1 pm to 2:30 pm


Application Fee:

For SC/ST it is 250/- Rs
For General and OBC it is 500/-Rs

Pattern of Exam:

This will be an objective type questions. There will not be negative marking.

CTET exam registration is going on.Anyone can apply for CTET exam as there is no restriction about age.Candidates must possess Graduation/Senior Secondary plus 2 years Diploma in relevant subject.
Selections would be made on basis of performance in Written Examination.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CTET-

1)- For primary stage (Classes I - IV) :

You must be 12th passed with at least 50% marks or 2 year diploma course in elementary education.

2)- For elementary stage (Classes VI – VIII) :

You should have a graduation degree along or 2 year diploma in elementary education (Or) 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree.



CTET Exam pattern -

CTET paper will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) each of having 1 mark. There is 150 MCQs for the primary stage test and 210 MCQs for Elementary Stage. Each exam is of 90 minutes.

Application Fee:

For General and OBC it is 500/-
For SC/ST candidates - 250/-

Totally it consists of 150 questions and 150 marks.

For classes 6 to 8 duration of examination is one and half hours there is 210 Multiple Choice Questions given there will be 210 marks.

(1) Child Development and Pedagogy (Compulsory) – 30 questions and 30 marks
(2) Language I (Compulsory) – 30 questions and 30 marks
(3) Language II (Compulsory) – 30 questions and 60 marks
(4) a) for mathematics and Science teacher – 60 questions and 60 marks

CTET - Central Teacher's Eligibility Test conduicted by CBSC every year for selection of Teacher for classes I to V(Primary Stage) and for classes VI to VII(Elementary Stage)

There is no upper age limit for CTET.

CTET Eligibility:--

Paper I for Class I-V :--- Candidate should be pass in 10+2 with minimum
50% marks or should have two year diploma course in Elementry education or candidate should have graduate degree with minimum 50% marks or those who are appearing in first year of B.Ed course are also eligible for CTET exam.

Paper II for Class VI-VIII:-- Candidate who have graduate degree or those
who are appearing in final year of two year Diploma course in Elementary Education or those who have appeard in first year of B.Ed. course are eligible to appear in CTET exam.

Relaxation for reserve candidate.There is no age limit to appear in the CTET Exam.
