What is the minimum age criteria to be eligible for 10th Board exams under CBSE curriculum?
My niece was born on 06.04.2011. Now, she is in 5th standard. Please tell me that her age is appropriate for passing 10th class under CBSE Board curriculum? Currently, she is studying in a school affiliated to CBSE in Himachal Pradesh.

There is no such notification regarding the minimum or maximum age limit criteria to appear for CBSE std 10th board examination.
The age limit criteria is decided by the Directorate of state Education for the respective state students. So, you can visit the concerned office to get detail information. |

The age criteria for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination suggests that the age of applicant must not be under 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which the applicant got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
So, being a student of Class 5th now, she is likely to appear in her Class 10th board examination in 2025 while she will get admitted to her Class 10th in 2024. But,being born on 06.04.2011, as per the current CBSE age criteria norm, your niece will be under age for appearing in CBSE Class 10th board examination 2025.
